The Veterinary Pathology Group (VPG), today announced that they have formed a strategic alliance with Woodley Veterinary Diagnostics to provide veterinary practices with a complete laboratory Point of Care Testing (POCT) solution.

The alliance with Woodley Veterinary Diagnostics, who are part of Woodley Equipment Company Ltd, will enable the provision of a wide range of in-house laboratory analysers for veterinary practices in the UK and Ireland – complementing VPG’s current services while delivering diagnostic excellence for customers and patients.

The complete laboratory system includes the InSight V5 Haematology Analyser, InSight V-CHEM Chemistry Analyser, InSight V-IA Immunoassay Analyser, InSight qLabs Coagulation Analyser and InSight Urinalysis Urine Strip Reader. The customer centric analysers, which use the latest innovative technology, are easy to use, and integrate with most major practice systems. The instruments can be purchased as a complete laboratory system or stand-alone and there are flexible options available for those practices looking to buy or rent.

Customer centricity goes beyond the instruments and continues into the wrap around services. Practices investing in the solution will benefit from a dedicated on-the-road Account Management team who provide in-practice support including installation, training and on-going advice, as well as access to technical support and ongoing product development from a team Biomedical Scientists and Service Engineers.
