THE GREEN PIONEERS
The Green Pioneers is an internal group of passionate employees across our 6 laboratories. The group was started in September 2021 with the aim of harmonising and initiating small sustainable changes across the company.
Some of the success of the group so far have included: adding recycling bins to the kitchen of each site, LED lightbulbs where possible, ensuring no single use cups are used, recycling old lab equipment and introducing suggestion boxes at all sites to collect ideas to improve our sustainability.
INVESTORS IN THE ENVIRONMENT
We are proud to announce that we have joined Investors in the Environment, a national environmental accreditation scheme, that will help us to reduce the impact we have on the environment. We are currently working towards the Investors in the Environment bronze award.
Being a member of this scheme will help us to meet our environmental ambitions, as we’ll be provided with help reducing our carbon emissions, calculating our greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring we are compliant with environmental legislation.
